Abstract
This major gold-silver-copper deposit occurs in a breccia pipe, rather than along a fault zone as had been previously believed. Devonian tuff and rhyolite were brecciated, probably in Permian time, and replaced by massive sulfides with some tellurides. About 2,500,000 ounces of gold were mined from a deep gossan formed in lower Jurassic time.
