With reference to a paper by Supriya Roy on the metamorphosed manganese protores of the world (for reference, see this Bibliography Vol. 30, Roy 4), it is pointed out that the term 'kodurite' does not have general validity inasmuch as rocks of this description do not exist in the type area.
