Relative to a paper by K. L. Chakraborty on the geologic and mineralogic characteristics of chromite occurrences in India (for reference, see this Bibliography Vol. 30), the age of the country rocks is questioned, as well as the degree of alteration of the dunite host, the evidence for injection of chromite, and the high alumina content of all Indian chromite.
