Abstract
Occurrences are confined to the area of intensive Variscan deformation along its contact with the Bohemian intermontane stable block. They are independent of the specific age of subsequent deformations and associated volcanism, but both the post-Variscan volcanism and the issue of the mineral springs are spatially bound to the older basement structural lines.
