"From experiments, the solubility of zinc sulfide in water is less than 5 x 10 (super -6) mole per kilogram in the temperature range 200-300 degrees C. This is in agreement with calculations from thermodynamic data. The transport of metal sulfides in hydrothermal solutions is briefly discussed and thiosulfate complexes of heavy metals are suggested to be important agents in this respect."
