"Associated with the great batholith of acidic rocks on the east China coast tungsten ores occur in three main deposits: pegmatite, quartz veins and replacement. Hong Kong has many typical ore occurrences that are found elsewhere in south China. There is much evidence, based on veins and dikes, that mineralization took place at much lower temperatures than have so far been postulated."
