Equilibrium relationships among mineral phases in the low soda part of the system Na 2 O-Al 2 O 3 -SiO 2 -H 2 O are presented. Assemblages of three crystalline phases in equilibrium with an aqueous phase at elevated water pressure (5,000-30,000 psi) are arranged in order of increasing temperature of stability, with relationships shown diagrammatically by a series of phase triangles. Upper temperature limits of stability at high water pressures are given for analcite, paragonite, hydroxy-sodalite, hydroxy-cancrinite, Na-montmorillonite, and a nepheline hydrate phase.
