Abstract

"The deposits are telethermal and related to the end of Alpine orogeny, Mio-Pliocene in age. A convenient classification is afforded by the structural framework; they are along great northeast-southwest strike faults. The formations most favorable to mineralization are the Miocene (calcareous and sandy to conglomeratic), the Senonian, the Aptian, the Jurassic limestones, and the marginal breccias of the Triassic."
