Abstract
The tin-silver veins, of Pliocene? age, occur in rhyolite porphyry, shale, and explosive breccia near intrusive bodies of quartz-monzoniteporphyry. The ore fluids came from the same magma body as did the quartz- monzonite porphyry. The ore fluids came from the same magma body as did the quartz-monzonite porphyry and mineralization took place in two stages. Ore deposition took place at relatively high temperatures at a depth of 1000 to 2000 feet; the veins may be classed as xenothermal.
