It is a great honor to be the citationist for Sarah Gleeson, recipient of the 2007 Lindgren Award. Waldemar Lindgren is a great role model for any economic geologist, as he was a classically trained mineralogist who put his skills to the interdisciplinary study of ore deposits, publishing prolifically in peer-reviewed journals as well as authoring a number of definitive books.
