Following in the footsteps of other landmark reviews of major ore-producing countries such as Australia (Hughes, 1990; Solomon and Groves, 1994) and South Africa (Anhaeusser and Maske, 1986), this substantial (>1,000 pages) monograph is a great achievement that should be in every geologic research library in the world.
