Volcanic Degassing is one of several recent special publications on volcanoes and volcanic processes offered by the Geological Society. This publication resulted from a two-day-long meeting convened in honor of the late Peter Francis. The volume covers various aspects of magmatic volatiles, and their influence on eruption dynamics and effects on the atmosphere.
