Abstract
Multiple attenuation for low S/N seismic data from Jiangsu Basin in eastern China was a challenge. After various conventional multiple attenuation techniques (including regional surface wave elimination, predictive decon-volution, f−k filtering, and Radon transform) had been applied, internal multiples still remained and, as a result, some weak primaries were buried by high background noise.
