Sequence stratigraphy is rapidly becoming recognized by the oil industry and academia as the tool of choice for integration of geologic, geochemical, petrophysical and geophysical data. However, while experiencing rapid growth within the geologic community, there is a relative dearth of sequence stratigraphic publications within the geophysical community, specifically SEG.
