Abstract
I have been informed by our present Editor of Geophysics, Stanley H. Ward, that on SEG's 50th anniversary a special Golden Anniversary volume pertaining to the Society's history is to be published. Among the contributions to this issue, past Editors have been invited to submit brief statements regarding their respective editorial experiences. This is in response to that request.
