The Hong Kong Regional Group (HKRG) of the Geological Society of London is unique in that it is the only overseas ‘regional’ group of the Geological Society. It was formed in May 2001 to promote the profession and the role of geologists, in particular professional accreditation for geologists in Hong Kong.
