The monospecific genus Derbiocrinus Wright, type species D. diversus Wright, formerly lacked adequate locality and stratigraphical data within its type area. New specimens from the Treak Cliff area near Castleton, Derbyshire, come from the Asbian Bee Low Limestones. The column, hitherto undescribed, is pentagonal in outline and proximally heteromorphic; other features, apart from those of the dorsal cup, remain unknown. Derbiocrinus diversus lived in a fore reef environment.
