I am just starting a graduate student on the geochemistry of meltwaters. I have never taken any glaciology courses but there is good glaciological expertise in the School of Environmental Sciences, at the University of East Anglia. These colleagues and myself are about to carry out dye-tracing experiments on glaciers in the Swiss Alps.
