A new species of Pseudoparalegoceras Miller from the Rainbow Mountain Sequence in the Alaskan Range indicates that these beds are Early Pennsylvanian in age. This species is similar to those from the Atokan Formation, Magdalena Limestone, and Bashkirian beds, all of Early Pennsylvanian age.
