With this issue, we have completed our second year as the editors of the Journal of Paleontology. Last year in this forum, we discussed our plan and the steps we were taking to reduce the time between final acceptance of a manuscript and publication of the article. We can now announce that, with the help of The Paleontological Society, the time between final acceptance of a manuscript and publication of the article is four to six months.
