GeoScienceWorld eBook and Journal accounts are now administered through the same portal. Once on the Dashboard you can download COUNTER reports and review your IP address. To link to the Dashboard click here.

For help finding your administrator username or resetting your password, follow these instructions.

theIPregistry.org – making IP access easy

We have partnered with theIPregistry.org to make it easier for subscribers to manage the institutional IP addresses used to authenticate access to content. To make sure your IP addresses are correctly listed:

Log in or register for free at https://app.theipregistry.org/Account/Login
Confirm all IPs currently registered to your institution
Communicate any IP address updates in your IP Registry account by adding or deleting the relevant IP address(es)

COUNTER Reports

GSW will be transitioning to COUNTER 5.1 in January 2025 with the expectation that 5.1 reports will be available after February 15, 2025. As a result, COUNTER 4 will no longer be supported. If you wish to archive any of your institutional COUNTER 4 reports from 2014 - 2020, we encourage you to download them before the end of the year. More details will follow as we approach the transition date.

The metrics for COUNTER 5 are different than thoose used for COUNTER 4 and you will not find a one-to-one comparison between the reports and you may see variances in your expected usage for GeoScienceWorld.

When accessing COUNTER 5 reports, you may receive a message “Report Queued for Processing”. If you receive this message, your reports are in process. If they do not immediately download, please check back shortly. The processing will be completed automatically, and the reports will then be available for download.
