Bimodal inversion of corrected MT soundings in the Kyrgyz Tien Shan yields a reliable geoelectrical model of the region. The model images a conductor in the lower crust and roughly vertical conductors in the upper crust. The zones of high admittance in the upper and middle crust correlate well with low-density zones revealed by gravity measurements.
