Theoretical models are required to be developed for predicting thermodynamically possible types of phase diagrams, playing an important role in petrology. This paper analyzes the effect which the structural anomalies in PT-diagrams of one-component systems exert on the structure of PTX-diagrams of binary systems and presents a solution to an inverse problem. Also, study is given to types of transformations which occur in systems with a second component easy and hard to volatilize and in systems with continuous solid solutions as well as with layering in liquid and solid phases. Some examples of model diagrams are given, which may be used for predicting thermodynamically possible phase states of multicomponent systems in analysis of mineralization and igneous-rock formation at high temperatures and pressures.
