This paper deals with the Archean iron-ore formations, characterized by a scale self-similitude, combined randomness and order at different scale levels, coherent signs of formally different nature, and fractal nature, i.e., with signs typical of a determined and chaotic system. Special methods of the theory of dynamic systems provided a quantitative measure for the complex nature of ore genesis dynamics. Before any genetic constructions, the structures must be tested for correct classification.
