A Riphean formation of reef origin has been recognized in the central part of the Baikit Anteclise. It is made up of lithocomplexes of four types: dolomitic phytogenic, dolomitic intraclastic, clayey dolomitic and clayey. The formation originated in a shallow marine basin on the territory of the carbonate platform which prograded into the interior of the Siberian Platform.
