The new mineral species allochalcoselite has been found among lead and copper selenite-chloride exhalative products associated with the fumaroles of the second cinder cone of the northern breach of the Great Tolbachik Fissure Eruption, Kamchatka Region, Russia that took place in 1975–1976.
