An apparently new member of the eudialyte group has been found in the central zone of an alkaline pegmatite at Mt. Koashva, Khibiny massif, Kola Peninsula, Russia. The mineral occurs in tabular grains intimately intergrown with villiaumite, in associations with lomonosovite, barytolamprophyllite, aegirine, and microcline.
