Electron microprobe and CHN analysis gave CuO 68.84, Cl 26.35, H2O 7.47, O ≡ Cl 5.96, sum 96.70 wt%, corresponding to Cu1.05(OH)1.00O0.10Cl0.90. The mineral occurs as yellowish green to olive-green incrustations and masses in which individual grains are up to 100 μm.
