Abstract
The rare sulfate mineral ktenasite, (Cu,Zn)3SO4(OH)4·2H2O, has been found coating chalcopyrite and sphalerite crystals from the Commodore Mine, Creede, Colorado. The type locality is Laurium, Greece.
