Owyheeite (5PbS · Ag2S · 3Sb2S3) is a rare mineral sulpho-salt, descriptions of which are somewhat incomplete. New data obtained by means of x-ray diffraction in the laboratories of the Department of Mineralogy, Queen's University, are presented below; these not only confirm the validity of owyheeite as a mineral species but also indicate that another rare sulpho-salt, warrenite, is identical with it.
