Boulangerite, a lead sulfantimonide, has been studied on new material, the first which has proved suitable for detailed crystallographic examination. It is monoclinic, prismatic, 2/m, pseudo-orthorhombic. Elements a:6:c = 0.9158:1:0.3456; ² = 100°39½′. Some 60 crystal forms were observed. Lattice constants (Berry): a0 = 21.14 Å, b0 = 23.46 Å, c0 = 8.07 Å, β = 100°48′. New analyses by Gonyer on Washington boulangerite confirmed Shannon's earlier analysis and Berry's cell content of Pb40Sb32S68.
