Abstract
The mineral tsumebite, found only at Tsumeb, Southwest Africa, was described by Busz1 in 1912 as monoclinic. In the same year Rosický2 described similar material from Tsumeb, under the name of preslite, as orthorhombic. Before his paper was published his attention was directed to the article by Busz, just out, and he added a note to his own, suggesting the identity of the two minerals, as the analyses agreed closely, but adhering to his interpretation of the symmetry. There is no doubt of the identity, but the translation from one setting to the other, worked out by him, is wrong.
