Our knowledge of the crystal form of the oxide of arsenic, claude-tite, rests chiefly on the study by Schmidt1 of crystals formed as the result of a mine fire at Szomolnok, Hungary. The crystals measured by Schmidt were mostly paper thin and striated so that the values recorded are not altogether reliable.
