This interesting and attractively presented book was published to coincide with the exhibition, `Amber – Treasures from Poland' at the Hunterian Museum in Glasgow, from January till April 2010. On display in the exhibition were items from the Malbork Castle Museum and the Amber Museum in Gdańsk.

The book is divided into thirteen chapters, each one looking at different aspects of amber or historical era. It is clearly written and very informative.
