This is an interesting, well presented volume, part of the Special Publication series of the Mineralogical Association of Canada. It complements an earlier volume which described new minerals found in Canada or named after Canadians. The present volume describes minerals first described from Greenland. The authors (Petersen and Johnsen) have several decades of experience between them studying Greenland mineralogy from their positions in the Mineralogical Museum in Copenhagen, but the volume includes material held in other collections throughout the world.
