This book is intended as an introductory undergraduate text in geochemistry. It is the English translation of La Géochimie, published in 2001, although the author tells us that a substantial amount of new material has been added, since “in the process of translating the original French textbook into English, I realised that about 15% of the words had been irretrievably lost due to the verbose nature of the French language.”
