Environmental mineralogy as a discipline lies at the interface between mineralogical (inorganic chemical) and biological processes, consequently affecting us all. It requires input from a number of disciplines, and calls upon the state of the art in many of these. This book demonstrates the interdisciplinary nature of environmental mineralogy across four areas of application, each handled by one of the editors.
