In 1989 The Clay Minerals Society published the first volume in the series ‘CMS Workshop Lectures’. These volumes comprise the contributions to workshops sponsored by the society, and held in conjunction with the CMS annual meetings. In 2002, at the CMS meeting in Boulder, Colorado, the workshop subject was Teaching Clay Sciences and volume 11 presents the proceedings.
