"Additional specimens of Puncia novozealandica and Manawa tryphena are illustrated. Puncia goodwoodensis, n.sp. is described from the Miocene of New Zealand. It is suggested that the Punciidae are a relict group of palaeocopid ostracodes surviving on the New Zealand shelf, isolated since the Mesozoic."
