Fifteen species of planktonic Foraminifera are recorded from the middle Tertiary rocks of Puerto Rico. It is concluded that the 2 areas of outcrop of these rocks represent roughly contemporaneous successions which are lower to middle Miocene in age. The significance of 2 miogypsinid species is briefly considered.
