Abstract

More than 100 species of ostracodes are described or listed from the Eocene and Oligocene of Trinidad. One genus and 34 species are new, 46 species have been described previously from the Caribbean and the Gulf Coast. It is shown that the genus can be used for biostratigraphic zonation.
