Abstract
Reviews the taxonomic principles and morphologic nomenclature of the Miogypsinidae, describes species of Miogypsina from western India, including the new species M. (Miogypsina) bhogatensis and M. (Lepidosemicyclina) droogeri, and reinstates the subgenus Lepidosemicyclina.
