Abstract

Cuneolina hensoni n.sp., here described from lowermost Cretaceous beds encountered in numerous borings in Landes, France, is typical of, and restricted to, a calcarenite zone, characterized by a parareefal facies and an abundant microfauna, which directly overlies Jurassic-Cretaceous transition beds.
