Abstract

A foraminiferal fauna from the upper Cretaceous of Lerida, Spain, contains specimens of a primitive Orbitoides of upper Santonian age. Two species, Orbitoides dordoniensis (J. Hofker, Sr.) and Orbitoides tissoti, are described, compared, and illustrated.
