"Results obtained by numerical taxonomic and biometric methods suggest the occurrence of three species (two new). The mathematical procedures used are vectorial analysis, the multivariate biometric methods of principal component analysis and the study of homogeneity of covariance matrices. Principal component analysis is employed as a numerical taxonomic device for identifying consistent and significant differences in cytherellids."
