The ramsdellite comes from Cape Split, Kings County, and the groutite from the Walton mine, Hants County. The latter is the first reported from Nova Scotia. The complex paragenesis of minerals in the Walton area is reviewed, and X-ray diffraction data, comparison of unit cell dimensions, and trace-element determinations are tabulated.
