Abstract
There has always been a question of the cell content of zinckenite. Recent analysis of two specimens from the Harz region, Germany, by x-ray spectrography, using new methods for micro-size samples, gives the atomic ratio of Pb/Sb as 6:14 and supports the formula 12[6PbS.7Sb (sub 2sS 3 ] as the most likely.
