The Emmons pegmatite is located on the eastern slope of Uncle Tom Mountain in Greenwood, Oxford County, Maine. At times, the Emmons pegmatite has been referred to as the Uncle Tom Mountain quarry. The Emmons pegmatite is the species-richest pegmatite in Maine with currently 112 species.
A recent find of two initially separate appearing lithiophilite pods eventually was seen to be linked with a narrow connecting strand of lithiophilite.
