The above article, published in volume 36, part 2, pages 497–510, contains analyses of experimental glasses (Table 1) and synthetic pollucite (Table 2) that are incorrect. In fact, these results are from an unrelated series of experiments. The data plotted in the original Figures 2 and 3a, however, are from the correct experimental data set (GCs series). Therefore, to establish conformity between analyses and their applications, new and correct versions of Tables 1 and 2 are provided here, and Figures 2 and 3a are reconstructed from those correct data.
