Abstract

Three brachiopod species belonging to the genera Productina Sutton, Cyrtina Davidson, and Dielasma King are described from insoluble residues that were obtained from the Lodgepole Limestone (Kinderhookian, Early Mississippian) of southwestern Montana. Of the three described species, Productina lodgepolensis is new, and Dielasma cf. D.? utah (Hall and Whitfield) may also be new. All specimens are silicified and well preserved which allows study of the interior features of the valves. The range of Dielasma is extended to include Early Mississippian (Kinderhookian) forms.
